Based on the VL53L1X chipset with ST’s FlightSense™ technology and a SPAD array, it provides accurate measurements independent of target color or surface. Operating at a 940 nm infrared wavelength with optical filtering, it performs reliably in strong ambient light. The module features a 27° field of view, 50 Hz measurement rate, 1D gesture detection, and an I2C interface for easy integration with microcontrollers and embedded systems, making it suitable for robotics, automation, and object detection applications. Measurement Range: 4–400 cm for long-distance detection.
